Boracay Island Now Getting High Number Of Local And Foreign Visits

Just by now, local and foreign tourists are now fitting in the island of Boracay and the number is expected to boost in a few days, during the Holy Week when most vacationers spend some quality time along with their families and close friends in beaches and island hoping. Mr. Niven Maquirang, jetty port administrator in Caticlan, Malay, Aklan said that their pump boats are now extending travel schedules up to 10:00PM and is possible to broaden depending on the number of travelers arriving in the port. This makes them add more pump boats to voyage during these days just to accommodate all passengers, particularly the tourists heading to the renowned island of Boracay. Meanwhile, the Philippine Coast Guard and local police in Cagban and Caticlan Jetty Port are now in high alerts to offer security and safety to all arriving tourists. K-9 units are also deployed in certain areas to check all passengers’ baggage to avert possible transport of illegal drugs in Boracay Island.
